Shopping & Town Life

Ketchikan Creek is home to many locally-owned shops perfect for that souvenir or Alaska Made gift to bring home. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from plus a brewery and distillery. While a bit touristy, our downtown has much to offer the local and traveler alike.

Hiking & Culture

There are 10 hiking trails on the road system in Ketchikan. The U.S. Forest Service puts out a great trail guide to support your ventures. You're encouraged to check out a SPOT device at the Visitor's Center or Library. Alaska Native culture abounds in our town best viewed down the road at Totem Row in the Village of Saxman.
