Our Cabins

Our cabins are uniquely situated among the trees on the outskirts of the Tongass National Forest. Starting in 2017, each cabin is custom built to suit the various needs of our clientele. Our cabins feel remote without being remote at just 5 miles from downtown.

What's Nearby?

Located just 5 miles south of town, Ketchikan Cabins is neatly situated both tucked away in the woods and close enough to civilization to have what you need. Our cabins are a short 10-minute walk down the hill to the Mountain Point boat launch. Hole in the Wall harbor and pub is just 2 miles further south at Herring Cove, and Saxman Seaport harbor is just two miles north and the home of the future 3 Bears Grocery Store. The Incorporated Village of Saxman and the iconic Totem Row are just down the road as is the Coast Guard base and new NOAA facility. Not to mention town is a mere 10-mintue drive away.

Mountain Point Boat Launch

Mountain Point boat launch is the gateway to some of the best regional fishing grounds--whether you're bottom fishing or salmon fishing. Shore fishing can also produce from this location.

Herring Cove & Hole in the Wall

Herring Cove is a prime place to see bears fishing for their own salmon, while Hole in the Wall offers a great little pub and harbor.

Saxman Village & Seaport

The Village of Saxman offers a peak into Alaska's First Peoples' culture and art. The Seaport is a snug little harbor, host to several charter fishing operations and the location of 3 Bears grocery store.
